Syria Earthquake Relief Fund
"I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, [36] I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me." (Matthew 25:35-36).
In light of the recent earthquake in Syria and Turkey that now has claimed over 15,000 lives, we extend our prayers to all the families who have lost loved ones.
In our customary Melkite Catholic compassion and generosity, we would like to pray and offer financial assistance to the people who have been most affected by the earthquake.
If you would like to make a donation to assist those who have lost loved ones, have been injured, or had their property damaged or destroyed, you may mail a donation using the form below.
If you would rather write a check, please it payable to "Diocese of Newton" with the memo "Earthquake Relief" and mail it to:

It has been customary for us during Great Lent to offer an opportunity for charitable giving through our Melkite Catholic Diocese of Newton's, Shepherd's Care. This year, all money donated through Shepherd's Care will be given for Earthquare Relief.
With my prayer and appreciation for your generosity.
Bishop François Beyrouti
